I drew this picture on September 18, 2004, I did it inspired in the song Hanina by Jasmon feat Mohammed Mounir, and for this reason the picture has the same title.

The song is on the disc Sahara Lounge which motivated me to draw this other picture on July 27 in the year 2006.


In those years I found the magic of the desert, I loved the Middle East cultures. Their religions, music, dance, clothes and stories captured my senses, since then one of my dreams is to go to this countries, feel their warmth, touch the church, breath the spices, contemplat the sun and the moon above the sand, and dance with unshod feet and the cadence of the oud, sazi, derbake, udú, req and cimbati.
